Our purity-tested stock is the preferred raw material for global pharmaceuticals (USP/BP), luxury cosmetics, and industrial lubricants due to its superior thickness and stability.
Product Description
Key Quality Indicators
- High Ricinoleic Acid: Our oil contains 85% - 90% Ricinoleic Acid, the unique fatty acid responsible for its anti-inflammatory and high-viscosity properties.
- Grade Variety: We supply FSG (First Special Grade) which meets B.S.S. (British Standard Specifications) and Cold Pressed (Hexane-Free) for premium applications.
- Low Moisture & FFA: Processed to ensure low Free Fatty Acid (FFA) content (<1%) and minimal moisture (<0.25%), preventing rancidity during bulk storage.
Industrial Applications
Our bulk Castor Oil is a critical raw material for:
- Cosmetics & Personal Care: Famous for promoting hair growth (eyelash/scalp serums) and used as a humectant in lipsticks and lotions.
- Pharmaceuticals: Used as an excipient in drugs and as a natural laxative (USP/BP Grade).
- Lubricants & Greases: Its high viscosity and heat resistance make it ideal for bio-based lubricants, hydraulic fluids, and brake fluids.
- Polyurethanes: The primary polyol source for producing eco-friendly PU foams and coatings.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is FSG (First Special Grade)?
Answer: FSG stands for First Special Grade. It is a refined, bleached, and high-purity castor oil widely used in pharmaceuticals and industrial applications where low acidity and pale color are required. It is superior to "Commercial Grade."
2. Is your Castor Oil Hexane-Free?
Answer: We offer both types. Our Cold Pressed Grade is extracted mechanically without chemical solvents and is 100% Hexane-Free (preferred for cosmetics). Our Industrial grades are solvent-extracted for maximum yield.
3. What is Ricinoleic Acid and why does it matter?
Answer: Ricinoleic Acid is a rare fatty acid found almost exclusively in Castor Oil. It gives the oil its unique thickness (viscosity) and anti-inflammatory properties, making it irreplaceable in both heavy-duty lubricants and healing skin balms.
4. Can this be used for Jamaican Black Castor Oil manufacturing?
Answer: Jamaican Black Castor Oil is made by roasting the seeds before pressing (ash inclusion). We supply Yellow Castor Oil (Raw/Unroasted). However, many brands buy our raw seeds to manufacture their own roasted variants.
5. How is bulk Castor Oil shipped?
Answer: For large industrial orders, we recommend Flexi Tanks (holding approx 21 Metric Tons) inside a 20ft container as it is the most cost-effective method. For smaller orders, we use 200kg steel or plastic drums.
